Speech Pathology

We work with privately paying clients and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants who are in Perth & regional WA.

We deliver speech pathology services in your community (schools, homes, supported independent living houses), virtually, and in our clinic.

We specialise in 

  • prescribing and implementing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) solutions

  • conducting dysphagia and mealtime assessments and interventions

  • working with individuals who

    • have autism

    • have psychosocial disability

    • display pathological demand avoidance [PDA] behaviours

    • are non or minimally verbal

    • have complex care needs (e.g., in State care, from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, have extensive equipment needs)

    • present with psychogenic dysphagia

    • have acquired (neurogenic) speech and language disorders (i.e., dysarthrias and aphasias)

We offer

  • professional supervision (short-block or ongoing) for speech pathologists

  • analysis and critical interpretation of assessment and intervention data, report writing, editing, and therapy planning supports

Customised workshops for organisations.

Trainings Conducted

  • Facilitating communication in preschoolers with developmental delays. (Nov 2024). Audience: Early childhood educators at Yappara House.

  • Dysphagia competency training (Feb 2025). Audience: Support workers

  • Supporting students with additional communication needs (Feb 2025). Audience: Educators at Tom Price Senior High School.

  • Living with deaf blindness - training for support workers from Ant Hill Community Services and Enhance Hope Services (March 2025).

Professional development

Payment options and rebates

Prior payment for all appointments and the agreed scope of work (e.g., assessments, reports, therapy interventions, travel) is required.

Please check with your private health fund provider and/or Medicare for rebate eligibility.

Prices for privately-paying clients

Perth-based assessments and therapy

$250 per 60 minutes* of service. Service includes

  • delivering assessments and therapy in person and/or online

  • writing reports and associated preparation

  • liaising with stakeholders in person, over the phone, email, text, virtually

  • travel to and from the clinic to the nominated location of service delivery.

Scope of service will be discussed with you prior to beginning services. Pre-payment is required prior to service commencement.

*60 minutes includes 10 minutes of notes and preparation time that is associated with each appointment.

WA-based (excl Perth) assessments and therapy

$380 per 60 minutes* of service. Service includes

  • delivering assessments and therapy in person and/or online

  • writing reports and associated preparation

  • liaising with stakeholders in person, over the phone, email, text, virtually

  • air and road travel to and from Perth to the town where services are delivered.

Scope of service will be discussed with you prior to beginning services. Pre-payment is required prior to service commencement.

*60 minutes includes 10 minutes of notes and preparation time that is associated with each appointment.
