Speech Pathology services in the Pilbara
Here we go again. We are back in the swing of a metro-regional lifestyle. Clinically what’s the difference? We think it’s about how rapidly communities of practice grow. Due to the scarcity of therapy services in regional towns, we’ve noticed that families, plan nominees, support workers, educators and therapists who aren’t speechies apply recommendations diligently. They are eager to lean, modify existing practices and seek feedback on practice.
Consequently, a short block of therapy approach often results in notable progress. Apply the approach across a caseload that’s probably sufficient for a full timer and the magic happens. Entire communities gradually change their practice. Specifically, of how individuals with communication difficulties and disorders are supported to communicate and learn more effectively, within their community. In turn, our challenge is working out how to refine our work at every trip so that it adds to the rapidly growing knowledge base.
We are eager to hear your thoughts about supporting effective, high impact clinical practice.
